![]() ![]() ![]() i would keep the library where it's at and start fresh with your linux steam library. You got to reload the page after changing it. Point both OS's versions of Steam at it and both will pick it up (they may download some extra executables etc for the secondary OS, although it won't remove the other ones. The only issue is this steam thing, all other game clients (or whatever they're called) works absolutely fine and I can just pick the hard-drive to use, install and play until my eyes bleed. 1 Ramhound - Your library is limited to the install location, not the OS: you can have a dual-boot system with another hard drive that has your steam library on it. Once you have added the new Library folder your installed games should appear in. Near the top of the window click the '+' button and select the folder with your installed games. This will open a window with all your current Steam Library folders. So I'm not able to even download the games I have x) Launch Steam and go to Steam > Settings > Downloads and click the Steam Library Folders button. When I first got it over, then this offline bug happened. At first it took days to get it to change library to one of my bigger mounted hard-drives. I've had heaps of trouble with steam on Linux, I can't get anywhere with it. Except when I click to set it on online, it just stays on offline. mine had the check mark next to "offline" changed it to online and now it's back to normal when you have steam open up in the upper left hand corner go to the "friends" menu.
